I found this recipe while browsing Pinterest and, the pumpkin fan that I am, I HAD to try it. The blog had labeled it a "Spiced Pumpkin Sipper", but since I don't know what a sipper is, I'm labeling it a steamer in my book. (Thank you Starbucks influence.)
It's super easy and delish! I've been making half the recipe for one serving for myself. You add 1/2 cup pumpkin to 2 cups milk, less than half 1/4 cup brown sugar (I don't even add half the amount it calls for and it's still really good), some cinnamon and nutmeg (and maybe some cloves and allspice...), and an egg (my version...since it kinda reminds me of eggnog anyway) and vwala! A scrumptious Fall warm version of a smoothie, veggie, dairy, and protein included!
Now back to sipping my steamer...
