My Husband Rocks Friday!

1. List at least one thing your husband did or said in the past week that reminded you why you love him.

Last night we went on a late walk after dinner through the neighborhood. (Mostly I was hoping it might get this baby out!) As we were walking Big Red started flirting with me and then I said something along the lines of, "what will the neighbors say?" So he grabbed me and gave me a long kiss saying he'd give them something to talk about.

I love that he can be such a "rebel" and honestly doesn't care what others may say...and he's a great kisser, but that's just a bonus I found after falling in love with him.

2. Share a "Generous Wife Tip" - it can be on any subject - anything that you do or would like to do more often to make your husband feel loved and respected!

I love making it a big deal for Karrots when Big Red gets home from work. It lets him know we missed him and appreciate his time and presence. I used to get her super excited, but then a couple months ago she'd get so excited she'd start crying, which is not the response I was looking for. Now when I say daddy's home she starts laughing uncontrollably and we hide so we can pop out at daddy.

Make sure your hubby knows how excited you are that he comes home so that it's something he enjoys doing instead of going elsewhere after work. It's especially fun with a little one who you can hide with and pop out with when he walks through the door. Greet him with a smile, not a bunch of issues you'd like him to solve.

What a great tip! I totally agree with you. I try really hard to make an event of my husband returning at the end of the day.

And I LOVED the story about your walk with your husband last night. So adorable!

I'm saying a little prayer right now for you and your baby on the way. :)

Great post! It's so easy to be tired and distracted at the end of the day and give the obligtory grunt hello and peck on the cheek. Thanks for the reminder! :)
