Story Time & Farmers Market

Today was a busy day! We had a prayer meeting and then after, I finally joined a group of stay-at-home-moms! They have a story book time every week at the library and I was invited last week. It was great! The lady read a story and had the kids sing a bunch of songs with little hand movements. Karrots loved it! We got to talk with a couple moms afterward and hang out with one mom and her daughter. I feel like I'm official! (Like the last 7+ months don't count?)

When Big Red got home we went to the local farmers market. We had gone once before and made it just as everyone was tearing down their booths, so it was still a new experience. We picked up some pomellos and handmade soap and split a chicken italian sausage, garlic fries (LOVED the fries! thought I'll smell like garlic for a week!), and lemonade.

Mmmm! Garlic fries!

After all that, we headed to the Fair Oaks Pharmacy for a chocolate malt and strawberry ice cream soda. The ice cream soda has become my new favorite dessert!

It's in south pas on thurs. Dave has all the info. I think it's on el centro & mission, down the street from fair oaks pharmacy.

The fries are from Robin's off Rosemead if you're interested.
